Hardly a week goes by without another Islamic terror trial. In the last few weeks, we have seen three, including the first all-women Islamist terror gang, and the returned jihadi who had been attacking British troops in Afghanistan. But it seems that as quickly as the state jails Islamist terrorists, so do they get freed.

Of the terrorists jailed between 2007 and 2018, 40 per cent will be released by the end of this year. This is likely to put nearly 100 Islamist fanatics back on UK streets. Most of these will have only served part of their sentences, and all will have been able to remain radicalised in jail. We call upon the Home Secretary to review these forthcoming releases and give cast-iron guarantees that no released Islamist will be a new threat on our streets. Sign our petition.
